This is a site for our "non-club".
What is the Not-A-VW-Club? We are an informal group of VW enthusiasts. There are no membership dues, no newsletters, no planning meetings. Just random "get togethers" when the weather is good, informal B-B-Qs and BS sessions at local shows, helping hands when necessary, and a common interest in VWs of all types, especially air-cooled.
The "get togethers" might be a run to a local DQ or burger joint for lunch and VW talk or a semi-organized tech session at Jonce's "barn".
There is this website for the group. It is simple and to the point. A source for us to learn about future gatherings and a little about each other. Just click on one of the sections to the left for more information.
We also have an e-mail list set up on Yahoo. Just send a blank e-mail to not_a_vw_club-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your desire to subscribe. Just follow the instructions.
Jonce Fancher has non-club business cards that you can pick up from him for a nominal fee to hand out when you see a lonely VW around town.
