Petersburg proudly invites you to attend the 227th
anniversary of
the Reenactment
of the 1781 Battle of Petersburg.
The encampment
and
re-created battles are held at Battersea, the home of Colonel John
Banister,
the first Mayor of Petersburg and a signer of the Articles of
Confederation.
The event
will be held from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and 9:00am to 4:00pm on
Sunday. This
event is free to
the public.
