Society Sons of the American Revolution – Richmond Chapter Meeting
Westwood Club with
keynote speaker Colonel Porcher L. Taylor, Jr., a lifetime
member of Tuskegee Airmen, Incorporated, VP of VSU (retired), the
General Noel Parrish Award recipient; Military aide-de-camp to the
current and past six Governors of Virginia will speak about African
American Military personnel in our country's wars from 1619 to the
present. Emphasis will be placed on the 761st Tank Battalion,
the Tuskegee Airmen, the Buffalo Soldiers, 555th Parachute Infantry
Battalion, and U.S. Navy recruits and officers. |
