She works out at the gym
Almost religiously.
She stays healthy and trim
Just like me.

She sports stylish clothes
All of them wrinkle free.
Loves to wear what she sews
Just like me.

She never raises her voice or speaks ill of another.
Two or three times every week she has lunch with her mother.
Just like me.  Just like me.

            She sincerely is sweet.
            Keeps her closet floor neat.
            Never utters a lie.
            Likewise neither do I.
            .
Her job, the job of her dreams,
Compensates handsomely.
Works well alone and in teams
Just like me.

If her ankle were sprained
She wouldn't mope or whine.
Her moods can all be explained
Just like mine.

She never eats a whole cake all alone in one sitting.
And never insults her best friend and then says she's just kidding.
Just like me.  Just like me.

            Shops for Christmas in June.
            Never sings out of tune.
            Never makes or updates
            Lists of people she hates.

She knows just what she wants
Without years of therapy.
Builds no defensive wall.
Rolls with the punches while having a ball.
Looks like she has it all.
Just like me.
