| SpitNIC for Windows Download | |
| SpitNIC is a small application that will display a list of installed
network adapters in the local machine and optionally save that data to
the local SpitNIC directory or save the data to a remote file share.
SpitNIC was written in VB and will require the VB support files if they aren't already on the system. SpitNIC can be run from a network directory, just place SpitNIC and the required VB files in the network directory. Command Line Path: SpitNIC.EXE \\MyServer\MyShare The above example will launch SpitNIC and copy the file containing the NIC information to the UNC location. The file will be saved as "MachineName.NIC" Other Command Line Examples: SpitNIC.EXE a: - or - SpitNIC.EXE C:\NetInfo\Bldg5\NICs Note: Using the command line parameter causes SpitNIC to launch, save the NIC data and then close SpitNIC. This is for running SpitNIC in Logon Scripts, etc. By not adding the command line parameter the program will launch normally into a window. When SpitNIC is launched normally, files are saved to the local directory SpitNIC was run from.
