I have another Skencil plugin ready for general use (it has been tested for about 6 months now and it seems stable). It's called skEffects. It adds a lensmask effect (simulates a transparency), a blend to curve effect and a object to curve effect. You can find it here:

The latest version is 0.9.2e. This version works with pstoedit 3.44. SkLaTeX still works with 3.33. No other changes made.

Thanks to Soren's fix to pstoedit and his idea of how to change SketchLaTeX and skLaTeX to avoid the deprecated -scale option, skLaTeX works with pstoedit 3.44.

This website has been updated with a new template.

SkLaTeX is known to work with teTeX 3.0 under SuSE 9.3 and Debian. The teTeX 3.0 sunfreeware package for Solaris 8 does not work. I will look over this problem some time in the near future (it seems to be a configuration issue). I will also investigate MacOS X as well (for that platform is unknown).
