These cards and envelopes were noticed in the Post Office and he was asked by the Postal Officer if he wanted to come design cards, signs and V-mail for the guys to mimeograph to be sent home. These handmade, mimeographed cards were what the other soldiers used to send greeting cards to mail back home. He turned him down. He didn’t think he was good enough.
