Principal Investigator
Heading up the Thru the Field Farm Project and field school instructor is Dr. Tony Boldurian, Professor of Anthropology at Pitt-Greensburg, where he has been teaching archaeology in the classroom, the lab, and the field for over 20 years. Dr. Boldurian is the founder of Pitt-Greensburg's Archaeology Program, a University of Pittsburgh Chancellor's Distinguished Teacher, an active researcher, author, and a Pitt Faculty Expert in North American Archaeology.





Project Surveyor & Illustrator
Assisting our project is Steven N. Patricia, a veteran surveyor and registered architect (Carnegie Mellon University). Mr. Patricia, who also holds a Masters degree in archaeology from the University of Pittsburgh, is an historical illustrator for the U.S. National Park Service. Over 25 years, he has completed reconstructive illustrations in history, ethno-history, and archaeology for projects all across the United States. His illustrations and interpretive drawings have appeared in numerous scientific journals and books.
