Someone said we're all Blue now,
It's true he had an addiction thicker than blood
But Brother's round solid wideness
Big smiling kindness
Lives inside Us.

His mind was just...
Full of fantasy - Love - Science fiction
(But he had a thicker addiction)
And Cats.
He gave a new meaning to the word Blue-
He was so warm.

Never once did he possess
Any of the cool qualities characteristic 
of the color. 
But He couldn't stop.
Inner struggle gnawed at his soul.
Ate at his insides until
He became a shell,
With a heart pumping Blue.
