Reason for not finishing: Too many menus and lack of bells and whistles made it not enjoyable enough of an experience.

Nice anime style for people who like it, like me.
The personality of the game shows spunky child-like demons causing mischief throughout the neitherworld. It is a fun adventure with fun friends and humorous dialog. There is something very enjoyable about this.
The walking controls are very good. You are able to move very fast yet still retain a smooth level of control. You can move in any direction, instead of just four, and there are many different levels of speed depending on how hard you press the controller. Well done.
Once you get into the game, it turns out the be a very engrossing and addicting experience. There is much simple yet satisfying strategy involved along with a steady stream of rewards and simple pleasures. The strategy is very well balanced and there are plenty of extra things you can plot at scheme to get bonus combo points and such.
If you like leveling yourself up and maxing your stats, this game is perfect. There is much to do in the way of that in this game.

Isometric sprite graphics. It's not 3D, and therefore not the latest and greatest. It also limits the emotional impact that can by made by using camera angles and movement.
Lots of menus to traverse, which remind you that this is a game and not another world.
Very complicated battle system with a tutorial filled with text box explanations. Games should be intuitive and immerse you instantly, not dog you with tutorials and text boxes.
When you loose, you have to watch a cutscene that's too long and then watch the credits roll. Too much punishment for losing.
The feature that lets you save after you die so you can start all over again with all the stuff you gained last time is a complete waste. Yeah, you could start all over with all the characters, items, and experience levels that you had when you died, but you will also have to watch all of the cutscenes and dialogue sequences, and you will also have to play through all the levels all over again, including the tutorials. Why do this when you can just hit the reset button and load your last save game? There's no point.
