This is a dramatic improvement from Secrets Can Kill. The characters are CG instead of Drawings, the hint line girls talk to you about what's going on and have lots more personality, the player does not have to be constantly switching between disks, and many of the puzzles in the game teach you about something in the real world.

Learning about Chinese characters and San Francisco history is fun and interesting to do. You can learn something while playing a game and experience an unfolding story all at the same time. Multiplie forms of entertainment rolled into one.

What's also good is everything I said in the review for Secret Of The Scarlet Hand.
