All the cutscenes are voice-acted, which lives up to the standard that Final Fantasy X set three years ago.

Graphical quality is fairly good.

The story is crafted in a way that keeps you wondering what will happen next, and how things will unravel.

There is a diverse cast of characters all with different reactions to whatever is going on. Each character has a unique personality, attitude, and background. This cast of unique characters comes together for a fun adventure to save the universe.

The invention system is definately a unique feature that makes this game different from other RPGs. There is a whole new way of obtaining weapons, armor, and items. The player can have fun just collecting all the inventors and seeing what they can invent.

The action-based battle system has always make this franchise unique. Each character has their own unique method of fighting, so the player will enjoy a different experience depending on which character he is controlling. Each character has their own unique strategies that can be used to maximize the damage.

The game is very repeditive. Sure, each character has their own unique attack patterns to master, however the player will master then within the first two hours of play, and when the game is eighty some hours long and you do the same basic attack pattern the whole time, it gets really repeditive.

The player fights every enemy basically the exact same way. There is little variation in the type of enemy the player is fighting.

The voice acting is very cheesily done. If the cutscenes were put together into a continuous movie, it would get very boring very fast. The only way to stay engaged is to have the text boxes on so that the player will have to push the button to go to the next textbox.

The story is very exciting sometimes, but drags on through slowly in many parts. For example, after crashing on the second planet, at least twelve hours go by before the main plot progresses, and we begin to learn more about who Fayt is and why everyone is after him.

The invention system, while unique, is very difficult to understand. The invention of many items is also completly random. If the player wishes to invent new items, there is a strong change they he may actually invent something that has already been invented, with no way to control whether or not a new of old invention will be invented.

This is another one of those games where it is impossible to know how to get special items or know where to go unless you have the strategy guide. The player must to very obscure things to get certain things. The invention system a perfect example of this. There is no way to tell what a certain inventor needs for you to recruit him unless you already have what they need. It's lame.
