I was born a native Floridian but spent most of my youth growing up in Riverside, California. I was always interested in electronics so spent a great deal of time tinkering with radios, TVs, etc.. I graduated from Ramona High School in 1976 and entered the United States Air Force shortly thereafter. I retired 18 years and 1 month later . The last 8 years with the USAF was spent as a Network Administrator/Computer Technician. I was hired as a Senior Computer Support Specialist for Florida State University (FSU). There I worked for User Services for 11 years providing Desktop support with operating systems from MS-DOS to Microsoft Windows 3.1 thru XP. I troubleshot all types of issues dealing with connectivity, printing, applications, and hardware errors. I am experienced in all versions of Microsoft Office, Corel WordPerfect, and Lotus SmartSuite. I have installed and configured the following Network Operating Systems (NOS): Netware 5.1, Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2003 Small Business Edition. I administered server platforms using Novell Netware. I earned my certifications as a Certified Netware Administrator (CNA) and Certified Network Cable Specialist.

During my employment with FSU, I started Cy-Tech Systems. I used my growing knowledge with computers, network systems, and maintenance procedures (learned in the military) to develop our approach used in our services that we currently provide.
