Adolf II Prince of Schaumburg-Lippe (23.2.1883 - 26.3.1936) place of birth: Stadthagen, Fürstentum Schaumburg-Lippe reign: 29.4.1911 - 15.11.1918 His parents were Prince Georg and Maria Anna von Sachsen-Altenburg. Following his abdication in November of 1918, Prince Adolf and his wife Elisabeth settled in Brijuni, Croatia. In 1936, they were both killed when their plane crashed while traveling in Mexico. |
