july July 1, 2007: Well, well, well... July has finally arrived and we can hardly believe that Kayley will arrive soon! Only 5 days until our due date! WOW! Our new bureau is in and I spent a good portion of my day today working in her room trying to organize and put things away. What a chore this is! WOW! This little girl has so much clothes that she is going to be a fashion plate! I have also assembled her swing, bouncey seat, and diaper can. Who knew one little being would require so much! Hehe..... July
5, 2007: Today was the day for our 39 week 6 day appointment!
I LOST 1 1/2 lbs which was all water weight since my feet / ankles
are no longer swollen. My BP was a little high 130/80, but nothing
to be worried about. No protien or sugar in my urine. She checked
me and I am 50-60% effaced, but NO dialation AT ALL! Oh well. She
told me this means nothing and not to worry becuase I could go at
anytime. Kayley's head is engaged and right where it should be so
all is good. They scheduled me for an ultrasound, a est to check
my amniotic fluid levels, a non-stress test, and OB apt next Thursday
in the event that she has not made an appearance by then. If I don't
have her by my next weeks apts, we will schedule and induction for
the 16th or right around there. If in fact I do need to be induced
my last day of work will be that Thursday so that I can have a few
days to relax before the craziness begins! I am pretty happy with
the results of my apt becuase this means I can go to my Sheryl's
wedding and not have to worry! YAY!
