March 5, 2007:
There are 122 days until your due date on July 06, 2007.
You are 158 days pregnant.
You are 5.2 months pregnant.
You are in your 6th month of pregnancy.

March 9, 2007: WOW! Today we are 23 weeks into our pregnancy! Over 1/2 way there! After much deliberation we have chosen a name for our daughter: Kayley Lynn Vaillancourt! Kayley is an irish name and means effervescent, spirited, and joyful. Lynn is english and means fresh as spring.

March 10, 2007: We went to a Baby Fair in Boston today. There were a ton of vendors, some of interest to us - some not. We came home with two bags full of free goodies and samples, including three 4 oz Avent bottles, which is the kind we plan to use!

I am feeling pretty decent these days. Being in the second trimester has been nice for the most part! My belly is growing rapidly these days; Kayley is certainly making herself known! My once cute innie belly button is now an outtie! Her movements are strong as she kicks me many times a day, as if I'd forget she was there! I am pretty sure that I am even feeling her punch and elbow me too! (I can tell which is which since I know what direction she is laying in.) She is growing stronger and stronger with each passing week. How amazing it is to feel her! I have been trying to get Damian to be able to feel her from the outside for a few weeks now and everytime he tries she stops moving!!! What a little silly she is!

I have been asked by many if and what kind of food cravings I have been experiencing; really the only thing I can say that I honestly crave is not a food item, but a large french vanilla decaf ice coffee from Dunkins. Hehe.. what an odd thing to crave! Either she will LOVE coffee later in life or HATE it!

March 15, 2007: We had our most recent appointment today with the OB. We met the fourth doc in the practice named Dr. Donofrio. She was very nice and willing to answer any quiestions we had. I have been VERY congested at night when I lay down to go to sleep and as a result have a very hard time sleeping. I asked her if it was ok for me to take something like robatussin or sudafed before going to bed to help with the sleeping. She said once a night was fine and wouldn't hurt anything. I also asked her how they would be able to tell if and when Kayley has changed positions. She told me later in the pregnancy they will start feeling around my belly and should be able to tell from that. If not they will schedule another ultrasound to see if she has moved. She reassured me not to worry about it; more then likely she will move. Dr. Donofrio measured my belly and said I am measuring right on target, said my blood pressure was good, and that I have no protien in my urine. Next month I have to take my one hour Glucose test so I was sent home with my litle bottle of "orange soda" for it. Ick. I am not looking forward to it. Our next appointment is scheduled for April12th.

March 21, 2007: Damian finally got to feel Kayley kicking!!! He felt her twice! I am so excited that he was able to feel her move finally! Also when I was using my lapop this afternoon she was kicking up a storm and I could actually SEE my belly moving! WOW! Then that same evening Damian got to see it too! I had my hand on my belly and she kicked so hard my hand moved! So neat!
