So, I was filling in Tuesday night 11/17 at Tommy's for my friend Ron Stanley,
(Thanks Ron!) and with about a half hour left in the show Randy Jackson came into the bar. Randy was in town doing his
Led Zeppelin show with The Naples Philharmonic.
When I finished my show I went over to Randy and introduced myself.
We chatted, I met his wife Felicia, and The Drummer for the show Powell Randolph.
I happen to mention (was I looking?, maybe?) that I tried to get tickets for his show, but it was sold out.
Randy was so great. He took my card, and told me he would see what he could do about getting me tickets.
Well sure enough, he called me about 3pm the afternoon of the show and told me there would be two tickets for me at the door.
My friend Bill and I had a blast. We had great seats, dead center about 15 rows back. The show was fantastic.
