Walter Erwin was the class president. After High School Walter lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and
had a daughter. We have not been able to locate her for more information. He worked as an
outside sales person, but the company is not known to us.
At one time, he owned a small night club in Tulsa, but probably did not still own it when he died.
Sylvia Meeks writes , "Bob and I accidently met him and Jimmy at a concert in Tulsa. He invited
us to the club after the concert. We had a very nice evening. He had a piano bar and we all sat
there singing together. I know he enjoyed good music and friends. He had a good life. He seemed
happy, and he is missed."
Sylvia also knew that Walter had surgery on his carotid arteries about two years before he died.
He died in his sleep of a heart attack.
He and his wife Jimmy, were divorced before this surgery. But Walter had met a nurse while in
the hospital. They were married for a short time before he died.
