After I left High school I married Tony Montgomery. We had three boys, who are Tony Jr. who
now lives in Raleigh NC and has two children, Hannah and Nathan. Then there was Chip, with
whom I live now in Ward, Arkansas, just a little north of Jacksonville.. Chip has been taking
care of me since I had my stroke. He has
a daughter, Rachell. Then my son, Steven, lives in Mountain Home. Steven has a daughter
named Jessica.
Right after we married, Tony worked for Helena Wholesale and I worked for 10 years at the
Helena Garment Factory. When I left that job I took a semester at the Community College
honing my secretarial skills. Then I went to work for the Dept. of Human Services for the next
18 years. After leaving that job I worked for a company named DSI out of Iowa. DSI was an
electronics company, Diversified Software Industries.. I was the operations manager.
Tony and I were divorced in 1988. And when I worked for DSI I traveled constantly. I visited
almost every major city in the USA as well as Vancouver BC. I suffered a stroke in 1999 and
have not been able to get around any more. I had to leave DSI and retire then.
I hope everyone in the class has had a successful and happy life. I really want to get to the
reunion. I'm not sure I will be able to. I want to tell everyone a big hello. I will be glad to see
all of you if I can make it.
