THOUGHTS ON BUD GRAY

August 4, 2005 from Billy Mac Morton - "I thought the world of Bud Gray. We used to laugh,
sing, act silly and whatever - and at all times he was so much fun and always a gentleman. He
was a special friend."

From a Classmate: "Regarding Bud's death, all I knew at that time was that he was working at
the restaurant/bar in Wet Helena, had stepped outside for a minute, and someone found him a
short time later. It was said he had a fatal seizure. He had epilepsy for years for which he took
medication, and I was told he had stopped the medications. "

April 19, 2006 from Richard Holland - "The last time I saw Bud was at my Mom's house one
Christmas. He and I sat up almost all night over a bottle of wine (or two) remembering the good
times we had shared. We laughed about the time we were doing "Knot Hole of the Air" from the
KFFA studios with my brother in the control room. I got tickled about something and could not
stop laughing and Bud had to read the entire news report. Needless to say, Mrs. Reichardt was
not too pleased. He was a great friend to me and my entire family.
