Deceased
Dwight Little was in the Air Force after high school. He married the former Edna Mae Dean of Frankfurt,
Kentucky, while in the Air Force. They had two daughters, Darlene Franchetta Little, and Linda Gail Little.
Darlene was born in West Helena, but Linda was born in Memphis. Dwight and his family moved to
Morenci, Arizona, where he was employed for many years as an electrician for the Phelps-Dodge Corporation.
Tragically, both his daughters were killed in an automobile accident on April 10, 1977, in Morenci. Dwight was
a member of the Southern Baptist Church. He loved to play golf, and also played in a band. Dwight suffered
from diabetes which led to his death in 1998. He is buried in the Bunker Cemetery in Morenci. His wife, Edna
survives in Morenci. Information provided by his sisters, Clara McGee of West Helena, and Geneva Richmond
of Centerville, Mississippi. (Geneva Little graduated in the class of 1955, and married Grady Richmond, the
brother of Henry Richmond of our class.)
