I left high school and entered the Air Force where I served from 1956 to 1959. I was stationed the whole time at the Little Rock AFB. I then went to the University of Arkansas from 1959 to 1963 where I obtained the Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering (BSEE) degree. I married for the first time while I was in college.

From there I went to Southern Cal and started studying engineering. I dropped out of that program in 1969 and got my Masters degree in Counseling and Guidance. I went to the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California, in the mountains south of Monterrey. At one point I ran a spiritual retreat in the Ventana Wilderness in the mountains above Big Sur. It was more of a Budhist denomination.

I then went to the Bay area and tried my hand at promotion. I promoted a show called the Psychic Explosion in 1977. In 1978 I was back to Engineering. I went to Seattle to Boeing. At one point I dropped out again for a 3 year sabbatical in Big Sur, then back to Boeing. I was a staff scientist in instrument technology. I was one of the guys who put the cathode ray on the Boeing 767. I received an award from the Society of Information Display for my work there. I retired from Boeing in 1995 and worked for two years for an electronics company in Atlanta. I finally retired for good in 1997 came back to Washington and built a house here in the Mazama valley using my own architecture and construction.

I finally remarried quite successfully in 1989. My wife was Susan Christian. She is originally from Benumclaw, Washington. I have one child by my first marriage, and she has two by her first marriage. So we have a composite of 7 grandchildren among them.

I will be unable to attend the reunion right now because we are putting this house up for sale. But I hope you have a successful reunion.
