Bio of Billy Miller
After graduation I worked at the Helena World and Helena Wholesale. I
then attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and later
transferred to Arkansas State University in Jonesboro where I completed
my Accounting Degree. After graduation I worked at the Singer Plant in
Truman and finished my career with the Crowley Ridge Development Council.
In 1978 I married Janice Vaclavicek who was a widow with two small sons
- 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 - Richard Allen and Charles Thomas Lemmons. Janice
was born in 1946 in Bastrop, LA. After we married she operated a Home Day Care for 25
years. In 1979 we had a daughter, Martha Gail who works in a shoe
store and her husband, B. K. Maynard works at the Industrial Travel Agency in
Campbellsville, KY. Chuck and his wife Christy live in Paragould where he works for
Frito-Lay. They are expecting OUR first GRANDCHILD in October! Richard also lives in
Paragould and works for Teleflora. Janice is working "part-time -
full'time" at The Mail Room.
The Community Fellowship Church is the mainstay of our lives. A small
group meets weekly in my room at the Nursing Home.

Bill Miller
William B. "Bill" Miller, 67, of Jonesboro, died Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2006, at his home
of natural causes.
Born in Wabash in Phillips County, Mr. Miller lived several years in Trumann before moving to
Jonesboro in 1978. He worked several years for Crowley's Ridge Development Council before
retiring in March. He attended the University of Arkansas and was a graduate of Arkansas State
University with an Accounting degree.
Bill was a member of Community Fellowship Church and was preceded in death by his parents:
Kenneth and Martha Hightower Miller, and by a brother, K.T. Miller.
Survivors include:
His wife: Janice Lemmons Miller of the home;
2 Sons and Daughter-in-law: Richard Allen Lemmons, and Chuck and Christy Lemmons, all of
Paragould;
1 Daughter and son-in-law: Martha-Gail and B.K. Maynard of Campbellsville, Kentucky;
1 Brother: Lawrence Miller of Hewitt, Texas; and
2 Cousins: Murray Hightower and Bobby Hightower.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 at Community Fellowship Church with
Rex Holt, Dave Burgess and Worth Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery
with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers include: Marty Algee, Bart Morrison, Steven Bryan, Billy Cambell, Murray
Hightower, Bobby Hightower, Michael Haughey, John Ollis, Caleb Delaney, Josh Martin, and
Brandon Martin.
Visitation will be held 6-8 Monday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.
