Deceased. Before the 25 year reunion it was learned that Ray had a retail store in Compton California
that was destroyed in the Watts riots. He started over with a lumber and building materials
business in San Diego, which was successful until Home Depot moved into his business area. Before
the 40 year reunion Ray was retired and living in New Jersey. He reported that he was in very
poor health, and had undergone bypass heart surgery. Julian Frazier has learned that Ray
died in the State of Washington.
