Dear
Friends,
I
am running for The City and County of Denver Clerk and Recorder
position to afford voters a competent, honest and effective
leadership choice. We need a leader who will run the Clerk
and Recorder office efficiently, like a successful business.
As Clerk and Recorder, I will lower operating costs and manage
efficiently the Elections Division. I will be accountable
to you, the taxpayers, and will manage your tax dollars responsibly.
I will employ an open title search service on the Internet
where individuals, as well as title abstractors, will be able
to download documents.
I will run this office, for which I have worked diligently
since 1996, in a non-partisan manner. My personal ethics are
uniquely suited for this endeavor: I try to live my life in
fairness, neutrality and objectivity. I believe our elections
should be operated above board or suspicion. I envision everyone
in our county being able to trust our election process completely;
using either the poll process or mail-in ballots. I will alleviate
the uncertainty of not receiving a ballot in the mail which
has happened in many previous elections in Denver and around
the country.
I will protect, with my integrity, your fundamental right
to vote, your right to choose your leaders. As Clerk, I will
ensure that every eligible citizen will be able to easily
vote and fully participate in our great republic. Most of
all, I will be dedicated to service. As a public trustee official.
I will protect the rights of borrowers and lenders while
property is in foreclosure. I will ensure that every citizen
is treated with respect and given correct information in a
timely, efficient manner.
Naturally,
my campaign needs to be adequately funded and I am appealing
to you to make a contribution. Please make your contribution
by check or credit card by clicking on the button below.
I want to thank you in advance for your vote of confidence
in me now and at the polls this May.
