Colin's First Strike!

We are a bowling family. The kids decided to bowl a spring/summer league. Emily and Megan bowl with Jordan. Colin bowls with Joey and Allison. Emily and I have been bowling for 9 years. Megan has bowled for 7 years and Colin for 5 years. I was taught "spot bowling".

Emily won the high scratch game trophy (167) and Megan won the high scratch series trophy (417) for the '00-'01 season.
I earned another 75 pins over patch with a 223 game.

Colin bowled a triplicate a couple seasons ago with 57's.

Emily, Megan, and Colin placed 1st in Trios at the State Tournament in May 2000.

Emily and Megan's team, The Dolphins, won 1st place in the preps league for the '99-'00 season.
Emily won the high scratch game trophy (157) and had the high average (101).
Megan won the high scratch series trophy (326) and the most improved average trophy (+13).
Colin also won a high scratch series trophy (144) and most improved average trophy (+11).

In the '98-'99 season, I won the high handicap game award (256)
and earned a "75 pins over average" patch with my 215 game.
Emily's 382 series won her the high scratch series award.

In April '98 Tim, David, Linda, Bob, and I bowled in the Bill Hackman Tournament
in Seattle and won 1st place. We took second in '99.

Emily's and Megan's teams both did well during the '97-'98 season.

Emily's team, The Dolphins, won first place. Her partners were Catherine and Jolene.

Megan's team, The Somebodies, won third place. Alex and Tyler were her partners.

Tim picked up the Big 4 split during the '97-'98 season!

Emily won the "All Events" competition in her classification at the
Greater Seattle City Tournament in November 1997.
