Cat's Eye Planetary Nebula in Draco

This is a film image. Most films are not very sensitive to a common planetary nebula light emission known as OIII, which appears as blue-green. Since the Cat's Eye is somewhat weaker in OIII than some other planetaries, the OIII doesn't show up here as well as it does on a CCD image, which results in more accurate color for planetary nebulae than film.
Exposure Data: An RGB image made from two Fuji Provia 100F film exposures, with the R and G channels from a 10 minute exposure, and the B channel from a 15 minute exposure, both exposures @ f/11, with an IDAS light pollution filter
Telescope: 12" SCT on a Losmandy G11 mount
Guiding: Autoguided by an SBIG ST-4 off-axis with a Lumicon GEG
Location and Date: Saugus, MA on 1-2-01
