Crankset
closer-up The crankset is a Shimano Ultegra, with SR and Shimano chainrings. Shimano PD-M525 pedals and FD-R453 front derailleur round out this end of the drivetrain. The front derailleur works correctly with the Rapidfire trigger shifters and large "road" chainrings I have on this bike. I had the cranks re-anodized, but the anodizing wore off where my shoe rubs on it. I need to investigate a more durable surface treatment. |
