Paint jobs for Zzipper fairings
Zzipper fairings are nice when new: clear plastic, shiny as a soap bubble. But the plastic is soft, and a couple years of wear and tear and tip-overs leave scratches and hazy spots in the fairing. Sometimes these can be polished out, but I've had only moderate success with polish. I've found that painting the fairing is much better at hiding the damage.

The trick is to use the spray paint made for plastics. I prefer Krylon's "Fusion" paint over Rustoleum's "Paint For Plastics". Fusion sticks better, doesn't run, and covers better. A word of warning: these are smelly paints.
