About Me

Hello, my name is Jeff Parry and I am married with three wonderful children! Ages 32, 29, and 23! My wife's name is Clara Parry. My son, Jason (32), is married to Anne. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Masters degree in ECE and is currently studying at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary for his Doctorate degree. My first daughter, Jennifer (29), has two bachelor degrees, one as an Occupational Therapist from  Medical College of Georgia and one as a Registered Nurse from Mercer. She and her husband Matt also studied at Southern and are living in Atlanta with our two grandchildren. My youngest, Juli, is an elementary school teacher like her mother. She just graduated from UGA and is newly married to a fine young man named Scott who also just graduated from UGA. There is a family feud in our family- UGA vs Tech!!

I graduated from Ohio State University with a math degree in 1967. Then I spent four years in the Air Force, followed by a year as a golf professional. The following twenty years were spent in business with one organization- ending as a Senior Vice President of a life insurance company. I was then called into ministry, serving as a minister of administration at Bridgeway Church for ten years. After a brief retirement I decided I wanted to teach math and spent a year re-learning my math! And here I am! I hope to teach ten years in either middle school or high school (maybe even teaching calculus!) and coaching golf!
