Hi, I'm Mia!

♥ I'm a sweet, little French Poodle, and I live with two other nice dogs, two nice cats (well... they're very nice... as far as cats go, I mean), three active kids and two financially-strapped adults. I have breast cancer, and until another human came into my life, I was last on the totem pole to matter. Unfortunately, the humans I live with couldn't afford to take me to the vet, so I just had to suffer, quietly.

♥ Then, a nice, plump blonde lady, who used to "dog-sit" for me, came to visit after having been away, and spied the problem. By that time, I had two lemon-sized tumors, and probably would have died within months, if not weeks. The blond lady immediately swooped me up, and took me to a great vet. At that point, she acted boldly on my behalf, and went far into debt to help me, bless her heart! She thinks I'm totally worth it, though, because I have so much ♥ love ♥ to give... and that's where YOU come in. If you can spare just a dollar or three to help me, I will always be grateful... and so will my humans and my animal companions, too (more kibble and karma for everybody -- yay!)

♥ I've been a brave, brave girl -- I even have pictures of my surgery that I don't want to put on my web site, because someone might be having dinner, y'know? But if you want to see them, just to know I'm not some scam-doggie, I'll e-mail them to you on request, but I must warn you -- they are pretty graphic, and not for children or those with weak stomachs, okay? ♥ Please, don't send us anything you can't afford -- we're asking lots of nice web site owners and bloggers to help get the word out, because we'd much rather see a LOT of people send in $1-5 than to see a few sending hundreds of dollars. That way, it's not a big burden on anyone, and more people can share the love! We want all of our friends to feel proud that they were able to do their part, all without causing financial stress and hassle.
