Cheaper Music Means More Money For Drugs
Hey, at least that's what Matador records says.

Matador is having a pretty good sale on some of their older, as well as some newer, albums at the company store. Personally, I'm going to try out Pretty Girls Make Graves and maybe some New Pornographers or Pavement. They also have Mogwai, Belle & Sebastian, JSBX and all those other bands that people thought were so cool. Oh, wait, they still are.

Dictionarakoe
Have you ever wondered what songs would sound like if a computer thesarus chewed them up and spit them out? It would sound like this. I just listened to the Smiths' "How Soon Is Now" and I can't decide whether I'm amazed at it or repulsed by it.

David Crosby & marijuana?
Everything that I thought to be good about the music industry was turned upside-down today when I read that David Crosby was arrested for posession of marijuana. Okay, he had a handgun, too. Either way, it must be a slow news day if this one of the top headlines everywhere (including this blog).
