Are the faithful more overweight?
Purdue University researchers say their study indicates religious people are more likely to be overweight than nonbelievers.
They say two national surveys show a connection between being religious in any faith and weighing too much. They say that may be due to most religions promoting acceptance, and overwieght people finding comfort in houses of worship they don't find in secular society.
