This was a special commission for me and my first venture into the Chinese style blades. It has given me a unique opportunity to learn about the geometry and forging and heat treating used by the Chinese. This blade is made of sanmai construction with a folded cable grain for the jacket steel and 1050 steel for the core. Tempered to bend without breaking under normal use.
