How can I get from the airport to my hotel?

Both Chicago airports, O'Hare International and Midway are serviced by Taxi and shuttle bus services. In addition, both airports have direct connections to the Rapid Transit System, (CTA) which for a nominal fee (USD 2.00 per person) will bring you downtown. Look for the Lion Greeters in the baggage claim areas for further information.

What is the “Taste of Chicago?”
A ten day event held on the Lakefront where dozens of Chicago Restaurants vend food, have music stages and midway attractions. Each year over 1 million people attend the “Taste” and witness the Fireworks Show held on July 3rd.

What should we visit in Chicago?
Chicago offers many cultural attractions, Museums, Symphony Orchestras, Libraries, art museums and galleries, In addition many of the communities offer a variety of local restaurants offering foods from around the world. Italian, Greek, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Mexican and much more can be found minutes from the convention center. Chicagoans as a rule are friendly and willing to offer directions and will point visitors in the right direction.

What should I do in an emergency?
Emergencies (Police, Fire and Ambulances) can be reached by calling 911 from any telephone.
