Nicki Helvey Stained Glass Artist, drawing and painting
I have been making Stained Glass since October 2001. As soon as I made my first piece, I knew it was my passion. I have made well over 350 pieces since then. I have many completed projects for sale, and I do custom jobs, as well. I draw a lot of my own designs, but I will create pre-made patterns, also. I haven't found a project yet, that I could not make.

Toribio has continued her passion in the arts and has since shown work in both Maryland and Washington DC. The artist has maintained her alliance with St. Mary’s College where she instructs both yoga and cycling. Toribio is currently working towards her Master’s at the Tai Sohpia Institute in the Applied Healing Arts.
I am driven to investigate the world within, around and beyond us. The human body offers a boundless landscape to investigate and explore our experiences. There is a radiant beauty in the physical body not only visually but also through metaphor and process. Our wiring, connective tissues, and movement of fluids offers, limitless possibility for exploration.
Beyond the physical body, my investigation is also fueled by a curiosity in social order. This curiosity centers on how we as humans have chosen to translate our world. Though the languages we offer to qualify and quantify life vary, our experiences parallel.
Tracy Bensing Painting, Drawing, Web Design, Graphic Arts, Mixed Media, Interior Design, and Color Specialist I began painting at the University of Maryland, after two years at Savannah College of Art an Design. It was at UMD that I began experimenting in studio arts; paper making, print making, sculpture, painting, earthworks, and the three R's. I worked at ECO. We collected recycled materials such as paper, glass, aluminum, and plastic on and off campus. I began using many different materials because of that job. I made paper from my old blue jeans. I sculpted forms from coke cans. My painting professor remarked that my painting style in one of my first paintings reminded her of Frida Kahlo. I try to embody a strong sense of the feminine qualities in my paintings. As evolving humans, on must decide to remain a beast or transcend to being human. Instead of believing that one energy is more powerful than the other, I am constantly shifting the balance of the two in my work and in life. Yin and Yang, the cosmic energies that keep everything generating, organizing, and destroying in this universe.

I founded Bensing Designs in San Diego, 1996. When I Moved to Maryland from Los Angeles, March 17, 2002, Bensing Designs evolved into Jetti Arts Studio in Chesapeake Beach, MD. We are a full service Art Studio. Our works are original and can be commissioned to suit your decor or color preferences. 410 474 4545.
