Redneck Cruise?

There's been a lot of talk of doing a cruise for a family reunion. Even talk of a cruise for the 2009 reunion. We decided to include a cruise as part of this reunion.

It's kind of a poor-man's cruise for those on a tight budget. It can even be called a red-neck cruise to make all our Southern relatives feel right at home. We also want to let them know that not all rednecks are south of the Mississippi.

The Jex Red-neck Cruise will include a round trip with embarkment, disembarkment, day-excursions and all at a very nominal cost.

Well, kind of. A lot of folks have jokingly asked if our reunion was going to be a cruise. The "sisters" aren't the only ones who like to cruise! This year's reunion will include riding on a real salt-water-going vessel that has a resturaunt, accomodations, and bathrooms, i.e. WA State Ferry. So, in a red-neck way, you could say it will include a Cruise.

Part of Cruise includes an "over-land" portion since we'll have to drive to and from the ferry. We will pass by places of interests and even go to a few. So, in a red-neck way, you could say the cruise includes an over-land portion and land excursions. See the Land & Sea Excursions for more details.
