Leon is the last holdout among us who hasn't sold out to "modern muscle" (i.e. cars with electronic fuel injection.) He has owned his nice 1972 Chevelle since 1990. The nickname "Strod" came from a video game called "Street Rod", in which you raced for money which you could then spend building up your muscle car. Leon is also a good mechanic, having recently toughed his way through the first complete engine rebuild attempted by any of us.
Paul owns a pristine and very fast 1989 Ford Mustang GT. His wife Carmen is da goods and he is lucky he met her before I did!
Tom owns the awesome garage where we've done our last few projects. He is into weightlifting, boating, and the Buffalo Sabres.
Jim and I went to graduate school together at Virginia Tech. We then both accepted positions at MIT's Lincoln Laboratory, where we still both work today.
