View from the doorway of the dining room taken with the camera held up to the eyepiece of the Celestron C90 telescope. The telescope was focussed on American goldfinches that were feeding on Nyger thistle seeds.

Flowering plum tree in the front yard. Notice the top of the frame includes my fingera hazard with this camera as the lens opening is in the upper left corner of the camera frame (which is rectangular).

Photos taken on Hayward Hiking Club trip to Las Trampas on February 8, 2003:

Hiking up from Alamo trailhead.

Rather unperturbed coyote. Full 3X optical zoom with the 2048x1536 pixal image setting, and then cropped. The coyote was probably at a distance of 50 yards from the camera.

View of Mt. Diablo from the trail.
