Here are some old photos of friends from LA circa 1976. The first photo is taken in Mark Evanier's apartment and in the photo you have, from left to right, Tom Stern, Rob Solomon and Mark Evanier
The second photograph is taken the same year at everyone's most hated restaurant, the Denny's near the San Diego Convention then being held at the old El Cortez Hotel. From left to right we have Tom Stern, Rocky Bronstein, a waiting waitress, and a poor Sam Schraeger impersonator. (( For just what portion of Tom Stern's anatomy are both Rob Solomon and Rocky Bronstein reaching in each photo? )) The final photo, below, is your webmaster, JHW, at the 1976 New York Comicon which was held in, of all places, Philadelphia that year. My daughter says I haven't changed all that much, See for yourself in this 2007 photo taken in Boston found here. BTW, my hair's currently back to its 1976 length and needs a trimming.
