Prov. 4: 20 – 23 (a)“My son attend to My Words; (b) incline thine
ear unto My sayings, (c) let them not depart from thine eyes, (d) keep them in the
midst of thine heart (spirit). For they are life unto those
that find them, and health (or medicine) to all their flesh. Keep thy
heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues (forces) of life.”
(a)- “My son attend unto My Words” – Matt.4: 4 “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” God said to, PUT His Word First place in your life. That means, t.v., radio, and newspapers, along with anything else that is not wholesome and edifying to your spirit and soul, this stuff is not what God wants for you. I am not saying that you can’t read the paper, or watch the t.v., and what not, What does matter though, is, how much time do you spend doing these things? What is the content of what you are listening too and watching? What do you do the most with your time? (This reminds me of something, Pastors, you should NEVER, Ever, close your church doors, for of all things, Football Play off’s. Tell me, Is Football Your god? It is if your going to close the doors of your church just for the play off’s. Do you have a VCR? If it’s that important to you, then maybe you should step down, and let someone who will not place anything above Almighty God, and replace you as the Leader of God’s people. You should be Ashamed for these actions. That’s right, because you will be held accountable for the person that needed to be there and couldn’t, all because of a ridiculous idolatrous act, because you wanted (along with anyone else) to stay home, and worship your football team on God’s time! And any of you Pastor’s who have had someone kill themselves or end up in the hospital trying to do so, all because you were at home watching the games, instead of Preaching the Word of salvation, deliverance and healing; of which very well could have saved that person! These peoples blood will be required of You, even if they were not successful; you Will stand before God for your actions.) God said to Put His Word First Place in your life.
We need to give our lives to the Word, and
let Him run our lives. So put everything else out, and put the Word in. So many
Christians try to make God conform to their life, rather then conforming to
God’s Word!
Rom. 12: 2, 3 “Be ye not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may be able to prove what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. [(b)
Incline thine ear unto my sayings] For
I say, through the grace given unto me,
to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he
ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the
measure of faith.” You see,
he Didn’t say A
Measure of faith, He says, THE
Measure of faith. The only real reason for one person to have more faith than another, is exercise, that’s all! We all have the
faith the size of a grain of mustard seed, we all start off with the same
amount. If any one says different, they make God out to be a liar. I believe
the Word says, Let God be true, and every man a liar!
Also, your faith is not any better than
mine is, or someone else’s, why, because it is God’s faith that we have, no one
else’s but God’s. Remember, we are created In God’s Image, and In His Likeness.
We are joint heirs with Christ In the Father. The Father in Jesus, Jesus
in the Father, us in Jesus. Hmm, Do you think
we are all one with each other? Well we are, look at John 17: 21, 23 “..That
they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in Me, and I in thee, that they also
may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent Me. I in them,
and thou in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may
know that thou hast sent Me, and hast loved them, As thou hast loved Me.” From the sound of this, we are one with God, in
Jesus.
Jesus did not have anymore faith than we
do. The only difference is, Jesus’ faith was at full maturity, and the
Anointing was without measure, here on this earth. And we can develop our faith
as much as Jesus’ was. Sure we can, Jesus himself said, “the works that I do, shall ye do also, and Greater works
than these shall ye do, because I go unto the Father.”
So enough of that, let’s see how we can
develop our faith. How do you get more faith? Some people say you have to pray
to get more faith, some say you need to fast for it. Well, that’s not what the
Bible say’s.
The Word does say, Rom. 10: 17 “So then faith COMETH By Hearing, and Hearing By the Word of God.” He said faith Comes By
HEARING THE WORD OF GOD, and the Word Preached! Not by any other means, but
just simply hearing the Word of God. I do not care if you have memorized the
entire Word. That does not mean that you are full of faith, you need to
constantly Hear the Word. One of the best ways that I
have found is by listening to the Word on cassette tape or on compact disc. By
doing this you can be driving down the road, walking, or working at you job (if
you are allowed to have headphones on.), even at home. When you are at home,
have it playing in the background, it will not only feed the Word to you, but
also anyone else in your home, like your children, or even your neighbors. Also
playing the tape or c.d. at night, while you sleep is most helpful, you will be
amazed at what happens with you. Keep in mind, this will not do much in just a
few nights, you must commit yourself to it, it’s your life. This does not
Replace Reading the Word!
(c) Let them not
depart from thine eyes: God said, Attend (give heed to, devote, be steadfast,
give unremitting care to it, applying ones self diligently to) to My Word.
Look to My Word diligently, as your very
life depends on it. These verses have a lot to do with healing; God talks about
life, health and medicine.
Look at Isa. 52: 14 “As
many were astonied at thee; His visage was so marred more than any man, and His form more than the sons of men;”
Isa. 53: 4, 5 “Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried
our sorrows: yet we esteemed His stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But
He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised
for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His
stripes we are healed.” (Also read
verses 6-8) Take verses like these and study them, take them apart, examine
them; get reference books, such as, lexicon’s, concordance’s, W.E. Vines
expository dictionary of New Testament Words.
Look for and find these books, when you do, have fun, because you will be very
busy researching the Word.
Isa. 54: 14 said they were astonied, or
astonished at Jesus, His appearance was so marred, torn more than Any Man’s,
and His form more than there has ever been. Let me say something right here,
you know the little picture some people have of Jesus hanging on the cross, and
how people think they know just how Jesus looked on it, well guess what, it Doesn’t match what the Word says! His body was so torn and
shredded far beyond that of any other man’s had ever been in history, up to
that time. Jesus was a bleeding mass of flesh! Let’s not forget, the Roman’s
didn’t have any laws that would limit the scourging to just 40 lashes, Jesus represented
a major threat to the Roman’s King, therefore they
beat Jesus at their pleasure, whenever they wanted to. Jesus SHED His blood,
there was NO mercy shown to Him at all. The Roman’s vented their hatred for the
Jew’s on Jesus and what the people were accusing Him of. So keep this in mind
the next time you see the picture of Jesus on the cross, picture Him covered in
blood, and parts of His flesh hanging off His body. Let’s quit belittling what
happened to our Savior! And start realizing what Jesus gave himself to and
for.
The more you study and learn from the Holy
Spirit, the more the Word will come a live in you.
Always remember to pray Eph.1: 16- 23 and Col. 1: 9 –17
The more you do this, then the more the Word
of God Will come alive in you, making your body full of God’s life by His Holy
Spirit this lives In you, and when it does, there Will be a physical
manifestation in your body. Some people have asked, why then do we have
doctors? Simple, the doctors are for when your faith is not strong enough to
handle what you are dealing with, and for the ones who (I’m sorry to say) do
not believe that God will heal them, or have been caught in a storm of life.
The Word of God says, by whose stripes ye WERE (past tense) healed, Ye means me, or who ever is reading the Word at that time.
Were means, something that has already happened, your bill Has
Been Paid For You already. You see, when Jesus died on the cross, He paid your
bill, He paid for All of Your sicknesses, and diseases, all of your little
aches and pains, all the way down to the smallest thing possible, Jesus did all
of this nearly 2000 years ago.
Some say they believe in all that Jesus has
done for them, and yet they still don’t get it. We don’t have to wait until we
get to Heaven, you know, the sweet by and by. If this is the truth, then how in
the name of Jesus, are we to Glorify God when our bodies are sick, diseased and
dying?
So is what we need to do, is keep the Word
of God in front of our face, and in our thinking, and going into our ears. If
we start letting it slip, then little by little we will begin to loose sight of
it. When this happens, we then tend to think, see it doesn’t work for everyone.
Then Satan comes and reinforces what your old religious thinking is telling
you, and then you are in for a ride. This is why God says, Keep the Word before
your eyes, keep them in the midst of your heart, don’t let them go, hold fast
the Word’s, for they are life to ALL those that find (we must hunt for them)
them, and health and suave, medicine, to all their flesh. Keeping your heart
with all diligence, for out of it flow the issues and forces, springing up and
overflowing unto life.
Satan, Will come, and do everything he can
to get this Word out of your heart (spirit), he will not stop, until either he
beats you, or you Tell him where to get off. You Have
to Resist the devil, with everything you have, every
fiber of your being if you don’t, he will try anything to get you to think that
you have not received your healing. Remember this one thing, Every time God’s
Word is working, Satan will hit you with everything he can, so keep this in
mind, the next time he comes after you. Do not Back Off! Put the whole armor of
God on and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and charge. The
only thing Satan will see, is God coming at him, see all’s he can see is God’s
armor, not you, so don’t let him know it’s you inside.
After all that is written in this book,
there will still be those who will think that God will put sickness on them to
either teach them something, or to slow them down, why would God want you to
slow down? Praise God, He wants us to come Home to be with Him! Some will and
have gone as far as to say that God has tempted them in different areas of
their life, This Is Blasphemy pure and simple! IT IS WRITTEN:
”Let no man say when he is
tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither
tempteth He any man: but every man is tempted, when HE is Drawn Away of HIS OWN
lust; and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and
sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”
1 Thes. 3: 5 “For this cause, when I could
no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means The Tempter
(Satan) have tempted you, and our labor be in vain.”
Read James
The most important thing to remember is, to
Forgive. Look at Mark
11:25, 26 “And when you stand praying, if
you have Anything against Anyone, Forgive him and let it drop – leave it, let
it go – in order that your Father Who is in Heaven may also forgive you your
[own] failings and shortcomings and let them
drop. But if you Do Not Forgive, Neither will your Father in Heaven forgive
your failings and shortcomings."
So after you have spoken to your mountain,
turn to Luke 6: 45; read this, last part; “for out of abundance of the
heart the mouth speaketh.” It said
Out of the Abundance of your heart, your mouth will speak. I hope by this time
that you have put the Word in your heart (spirit).
God does not want His children sickly and
diseased. Would you want your children sickly and diseased? Then do not expect
God to, we have a Loving Father, and it is not in His Great Pleasure that we
are unhealthy. Do you see Jesus unhealthy? No you don’t, are we not His body?
If someone brought a package to your door, one you didn’t order, would you sign
for the billing of it? No, you wouldn’t, you would reject it; so why would you except any type of sickness, or disease if you don’t want
it? When Satan brings the Symptoms of any illness on you, reject it in JESUS
NAME! And stand your ground; he is trying to destroy the temple of the Holy
Spirit! Let’s not forget John
No it is not Lying
by not confessing the illness, provided you are standing on the Word of God for
your healing. It’s called speaking those things which be
not, as though they were. The Word say we are to
imitate the Father, and this is what He does. So rather than saying the
illness, say what you are believing for! Your Health,
your life!
