Jim with Earl Follis and Susan Espinoza of Lost City - 1988Another shot of Lost City

Lost City was a short-lived band. At the end of 1987 we came together and practiced and had one very successful gig in early 1988. Then we broke up. Both Susan and Earl decided they wanted to play in a harder rock band. Susan went on to sing with some hard rock bands and still sings around Austin now and then. Earl drifted back to Houston and I don't have any idea what he's up to. These pictures were taken in front of Earl's house. I performed with Susan on a number of occasions before I moved to Washington, and both she and Earl contributed to my 1989 cassette This Ain't a World Where it Pays to be Meek. Susan met her husband-to-be, Charlie Hollis while we were recording at his studio.

Jim performing at Kerrville, 1990 I had the great opportunity to perform at the Kerrville Folk Festival in their New Folk    competition in 1990 and 1993. These photos were both taken in 1990. Look at those legs!
