Panoramic Hills

Photography can be fun, it can be art, it can be hard work. These pages are about photography and photographs. I'll let you decide into which category the photos fit best.

If you go to "My Classes", above, you will find a list of classes I teach in Salisbury Maryland for Wor Wic Community College in the Continuing Education Department (410) 334-2815. There are a couple of links to sample photographs. I have posted the sample photos as examples of what I teach in photography related subjects.

The "Photo Websites" page lists sites that I have found helpful for photo ideas, instruction, and reviews of equipment. I will say here in an unpaid plug that the Steves-Digicam site is my first recommendation when looking for a new camera.

If you are interested in creating your own photographs you are welcome to look through the "My Photo Tips" page. There I have assembled ideas that I have learned in the past 50 years with a lot of concentration on digital photography which I have picked up in the last ten years. Digital equipment has changed a lot about photography, but good photos start with a good eye (You don't have to be born with this but of course that will help some.) The good eye will help you point the camera and decide when to push the button. Much of the rest is technique. (This you can learn.) My tips will help some with this and you may get a few ideas that will help with the other (that pointing the camera stuff).
