EDUCATION AT ITS BEST

Some of the Commissioners and all of the School Board boycotted a recent meeting of the Tax Rate and Budget Committee.

These people should be hauled out of their houses at midnight, skinned, and their bloody corpses tossed into Old Hickory Lake with the rest of the county's raw sewage. We're talking about the School Board here. A pack of imbeciles, four of whom didn't meet state requirements, elected to oversee the welfare of schools.

Who the hell do they think they are? Why did they do it? What warped, sick, little fiend talked them into spitting in the faces of our children? The primary reason there is a problem with the Wilson County School System is this: Smart people will not elect morons.

This may be pure sophistry, but using the scientific method of reasoning, it measures up:

1. County Commissioners were elected to their positions.

2. Smart people will not elect morons as County Commissioners.

3. County Commissioners are morons.

4. With better education, people in Wilson County will get smarter.

5. The smarter people get, the less likely they will be to keep electing the same hammerheads they've elected in the past.

See? It's all a part of the Commission's game plan. They want to screw up county education so badly that they prevent children from growing up smart enough to vote them out of office.

But enough is enough. I'm beginning to believe this gibberish myself.
