Hot damn!  For once in my miserable life, I called one right.  In the very first issue of The Wilson County Advocate, I said Don Fox wanted to be mayor and lo and behold, three years later, he said it himself.  Ha!

It’s about time somebody with some balls stepped forward and said he wants to run this burg.  Even if it is Fox.

I apologize for my enthusiasm, but I really am ecstatic.  First of all, Fox makes for good, easy columns because he’s always stirring something up that’s easy to write about.  Secondly, he’s opinionated as hell and if you don’t agree with him, you’re wrong (see above article—reference to psychotics talking to their dogs), and finally, his name makes for simple, catchy headlines.

I don’t care if the Pope runs against him; I’m backing Fox all the way.  Anything would be an improvement.
