The weather started out nice enough today. We headed east to Barbian and from there, over some really narrow winding roads to Vanga. Soon the clouds and fog were rolling in, which was a shame, since there was a point on the road that would have had some outstanding views high over Bolzano. This is our first coffee stop, I think somewhere near Ponticino. Shortly after we left here, it started raining. We continued on over Passo di Pennes (also known as Penserjoch).
