Jim Pinfield is a Combat Wounded
Vietnam Veteran who, because of his
injuries, was retired from the Army in 1971. He soon realized that he would
need to keep busy and took up
traditional woodcarving to pass
the time. He also
volunteers his time as a web designer for non-profits, plays 12 String
Guitar, and has many other hobbies and interests. After a move into a condo, Jim had to leave
his woodshop behind and find a whole new hobby. After a cruise to Bermuda, and after
watching another gentleman
wirewrapping stones, Jim self taught himself in the art, and now teaches
classes to others. Jim used to collect rocks and minerals when
he was growing up, and now it’s full circle for him, and with the help of his
wife’s keen eye, Jim tries to bring you the best that mother nature has to
offer in the form of gems and minerals, tastefully wire wrapped in Gold and
Silver. |
