Hope Station Girl Scout Troop 562 had there year-end Bridging & Investiture Ceremony

Recently Hope Station Cub Pack 149 held there Pinewood Derby races at Am Legion Post 101. Members of the pack gather around Jonas Tenney for pre-race instructions.  Sylvia Darby one of the Den Leaders has her back to photo.

In their distinctive pink T-shirts, Hope Station's Girl Scout Group #562  joins other girl scouts in the closing ceremony for Thinking Day at St. Patrick's School. Troop # 562 is represented by 6 leaders and 3 Brownies:    Patricia Prince, Ahlesia Thompson, Olivia Patterson, Katie Spiegel, Barbara  Muller, Jessica Dodson, Danielle Cioce, Danielle Moore, and Laura Bass

Hope Station's 2nd family saving account grad is Sanjay Shah (second from right) he is opening a Tuition Account Plan for $4000.00 for his daughter Yeshaben(on his left)she  plans to go to medical school. Sanjay wife Amita is on his right. Raj Borgaonkar ( on left) of M & T Bank present match funds of $2000.00 to Barbara Muller of Hope Station these funds will be used by Sanjay Shah(who was not present)to open Tuition Account Plan (TAP 529) for his daughter. Dodi Schneider representing State Treasurer Robert P Casey Jr who administers the TAP 529 program is to Barb’s right & Jim Washington of Hope Station really rounds out the picture.

 

Hope Station Pack 149 Cub Scouts prepare for “Pinewood Derby

The South Central Pa Sickle Cell Council held its first Sickle Cell Support Group at Hope Station recently, they plan to meet every 4Th Saturday @ 4:00,  and they plan to increase public awareness about sickle cell disease & improve the quality of life & provide support to those affected by the sickle cell disease. Recently Hope Station Girl Scout group 562 had a roller skating party at Midway roller rink. This was one of there first outside activities. The Girl Scout group is in the "Hot" pink t-shirts. Please call Barb Muller at 249-0036 to join

Jim Washington accepts check from Scott Sovders of Home Depot of Carlisle during there recent grand opening. Hope Station was one of three local non-profits to receive this donation.
