Join a Block of the Month Club and get a complete kit for making a beautiful 12.5" block every month!

How many blocks are in each club?

Each Block of the Month club has a total of 12 patterns. You'll receive a kit with a different pattern each month. After participating in a club for twelve consecutive months, you'll have all twelve blocks in the series. The clubs are continuous, so you can join anytime and still get all twelve blocks.

What's included in the monthly kit?

Each Block of the Month package includes high quality 100% cottons in colors of our choice, pattern, and instructions for making the block.

When can I join a club?

You can join at any time. As long as you participate for twelve consecutive months, you'll receive all 12 blocks -- enough to assemble into a large quilt!

What will I need to do once I get the kit?

To make your block, you'll need to prewash the fabric, cut the pieces, and sew! When you have all the blocks completed, you'll need to supply a batt, and fabric for the sashing, border, backing, and binding. You'll need to assemble and quilt as desired, then bind as desired.

What supplies will I need?

When will the monthly kit arrive?

You'll receive your block kit in the first week of the month. You'll have all month to complete the block before the next one arrives!

What's the cost?

The cost is $10 per kit. Postage within the US and Canada is included. Your payment must be received by the 20th of the month to assure you get a kit for the next month. You can pay for just one block at a time, or several. It's up to you.

Currently we accept Paypal payments, checks or money orders. Payment must be made in US funds, drawn on a US bank. Checks returned for non-sufficient funds will be assessed a $20 fee.

Can I be automatically billed each month so I don't miss a block?

Yes! We now offer a subscription service through Paypal. When you sign up for this option, you will automatically be billed $10 per month for 12 months. You won't need to worry about missing a block in a set!

Just choose which block set you want below, and Paypal does the rest for you.

Select the Block kit of your choice, then click the Subscribe button.

How do I tell how many blocks I've paid for?

When you receive your kit, you'll see a line of small print on the label. The 5-digit number is your customer number. Next, you'll see letters that represent the club that you've subscribed to. For example, GGF stands for Green Green Forest. A1 refers to Amish Twilight 1, and so on.

Last, you'll see a date in the format 5/1999. This date refers to the month you are paid up through. If the date is the current month, your kit will include an order form so you can order the next month's block.

How do I join?

Why the monthly deadline for block orders?

Making the Block of the Month kits takes a lot of money, time and effort. Each month, we determine the number of kits we have orders for and make one trip to the fabric store to purchase the required amount of fabric. We must then cut it, make copies of the patterns, assemble the kits, and get them mailed so they will reach you in the first week of the month. We need to have your order by the 20th to assure that your kit goes out on time. This method avoids wasted fabric and unneccesary trips to the fabric store.

Because we only make enough kits to fill our orders, we don't keep kits in stock, and cannot fill orders for non-current blocks. We also don't have extra fabric yardage to sell.

What if my payment and order is late?

If you want to participate one month, but don't think your payment will make it by the deadline, you can email me by the 20th to let me know your payment will be late. We'll make up a kit and mail it to you when your payment arrives.

We reserve the right to end this service at any time without notice if we have people who request a "late kit" but never send a payment.

If we receive an order after the deadline, but did not receive an email by the 20th, that order will be applied to the next month's block.
