Six Inch Block of the Month

This pattern is a great way to use up some of those small leftover pieces of fabric that you have from other projects. Make a whole quilt with multiple colors! You'll need two colors of fabric for each block.

Cut one 3" square of Color 1.

Cut two 2-1/2" by 3" rectangles from Color 2.

Cut two 6-1/2" by 2-1/2" rectangles from Color 2.

Sew a short rectangle to one side of the Color 1 square. Sew the other short rectangle to the opposite side.

Sew a long rectangle to the top of the square. Sew the remaining rectangle to the bottom.

You're done!
