New PicksHappy New Year! This week's picks are posted here. Reval 3 Now Available; Option Quotes and Stock Quotes In the Same PackageReval has been upgraded to version 3 with a major new feature: Options quotes. You can keep track of your options with Reval as easily as you can your stocks, and you don't have to hop from one web-site to another to do it. All you need is Excel 97 or 2000 for Windows, or Excel 98 for Mac. Reval 3 also opens up the workbook to your own spreadsheets, rather than making you keep them in another Excel workbook. Reval's other features are back too. You don't have to share your holdings with some portal site. Reval is faster than web-based trackers, requires no cumbersome log-in, and puts your data in Excel, where you can incorporate it into other spreadsheets. With Tax View you can see exactly what will be left of your portfolio after Uncle Same takes his bite. Reval directly links to news and charts for all your holdings and alerts you to big moves in your stocks. Stock splits may never cause anxiety again ("How can it be down 40%!?! Oh, it split.") because Reval actually downloads splits from the Internet and adjusts your portfolio automatically on the split date. Plus you can set up a link to your broker right in your portfolio. If you have Excel 97, Excel 98, or Excel 2000, you could be using Reval. If you want to find out more about Reval 3, click here.
